The TV translator sites which serve Sevier County communities include:
- Cove (Richfield, Monroe and surrounding communities)
- Carter’s Peak (Salina, Redmond, Aurora areas and Gunnison)
- Koosharem (Koosharem, Burville and Greenwich)
- Fishlake (Fishlake Resort Area)
- Rural Sevier (Southwest Fishlake area, Quakie Haven area)
Cove
The Cove translator site serves Richfield, Monroe, Elsinore, Joseph, Central, Arabella, Austin, Glenwood, Sevier, Venice and Sigurd. Many locations which are located north of Richfield can also receive signals from Cove.

People will need a properly installed outside UHF TV antenna connected to their set-top box converter or HDTV. The antenna needs to be properly pointed toward the translator site which serves the community where you live. Correct mounting of your outside antenna and the coax running to your TV or TV’s, is critical. Rabbit ears and amplified rabbit ears are discouraged. If you have problems or difficulty, you may need some technical assistance. Remember, many of these programs are transmitted in a High Definition format. The quality of true HD can only be realized on an HD – TV. Set-Top box converters deliver a good clear picture, but it is always of standard definition quality.
NOTE, 6.1 KMTI-TV IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE WITH SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS TO YOUR RECEIVE ANTENNA. Contact KMTI-TV for support and assistance. With time, the KMTI-TV signal will be consistent with the other digital broadcasts from the Cove site.
